Elegant and Bespoke Queen Anne Vintage Cocktail Cabinet

Description

This glamorous drinks cabinet is a truly unique, bespoke vintage piece that has been salvaged and lovingly upcycled by hand. The outside detailing and slender Queen Anne legs have been created using a variety of specialist techniques and products of the highest quality, including gold leafing, gilding, Frenchic paint in ‘Loof’ and decoupage in the stunning Dutch Floral wallpaper. Inside the cabinet you will find Annie Sloane pain in ‘Amsterdam Green’, finished with an aging wax to add depth and character, complimenting the exterior. The inside of the cabinet also includes a back and bottom mirror and removable glass shelf. The original, ornate brassware has been brought back to life. Finally, the cabinet has been finished with layers of finishing sealant for protection. A one of a kind handmade, sustainable, stand out piece that will bring lasting elegance into your home.

Story

This unwanted drinks cabinet was lovingly restored, hand-painted, decoupaged and gilded before selling to a lovely client in the Scottish Highlands and to a five star, rave review (see final photos for before and the review). This piece can be recreated in the same or different design and colour scheme via the commissions process.
