This elegant dressing table is by renowned furniture makers Olympus, sold exclusively by Harrods in the 50s, 60s and 70s. This piece has been lovingly hand painted in Coal Black mineral paint by Fusion before bringing out every stunning detail using lots of gilding, wax and 22ct gold leaf to add romantic, aged glamour. This piece has five roomy drawers in total with gilt metal handles, providing lots of storage, and a clear triple mirror. The stool is also included and has been fully reupholstered in this highly sought after, designer velvet butterfly fabric by Avalana Design. This unloved Olympus set was picked up at a furniture charity and lovingly stripped of old paint, repaired, hand painted, gilded and reupholstered to a high standard before selling to a lovely client in Surrey. See final photo for the before.
