Hand painted and gilded cocktail cabinet lined with Muck N Brass decoupage and gold leaf

Description

A beautiful, bespoke and unique cocktail/drinks cabinet. Prepped and then painted in Bunty’s Montreal paint “Goldsmith’s Green” which is a deep colour with accents of both blue and green. Distressed gold leaf has been used to accentuate the cabinet’s details and pull our shelf. The original handles have been cleaned, painted and gold leafed to tie in with the gold accents. The top lockable cabinet has been lined with an incredibly unique luxury paper by Muck N Brass and comes with two curved shelves and a fully working light on the top which activated upon opening the cabinet doors. a mirror in the back and a curved glass shelf. Just below the top cupboard is a pull out shelf for you to make your drinks on. The gold leaf adds additional glamour and luxury. The large cupboard underneath is designed to look like drawers from the outside and has also been lined using the same paper. The cupboard includes a shelf and is tall enough to house even the tallest of bottles. This cupboard is also lockable and comes with its own separate ornate key. All of the cabinet has had three layers of Frenchic Finishing Coat to add extra protection and ensure that this piece lasts for many years to come.

Story

This piece was salvaged from a house clearance before being prepped, hand painted, gilded and decoupaged. It sold quickly to a lovely client in SW London. See photos for the before. This piece of similar can be recreated using the same or different paper, design and colour scheme as a commissioned piece.
